Force 2014 – Kolkata Bengali Movie Full Movie Watch Online

Force is an Bengali action drama film directed by Raja Chanda and produced under the banners of Essel Vision Productions and NIdeas Creations & Productions Pvt Ltd.The film features actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Arpita Pal in the lead roles.
STORY: Encounter specialist Arjun (Prosenjit Chatterjee), who is entrusted the task of ending an inter-state gang’s reign of terror, has to choose between his autistic son Abhimanyu (Arya) and his assignment. Aided by Abhimanyu’s teacher, Labanya (Arpita), he beats all odds and trains the boy to be a marathon runner. But destiny has other plans…
REVIEW: Force is a film every sincere parent will connect with. Though it has been touted as a cop action film, it’s loaded with emotional drama. This, of course, doesn’t mean it is boring or anything of that sort. In fact, it is a surprisingly good watch, right till the last frame.
What makes the film even better is a sterling performance by child actor Arya, whose commitment towards the role shines through despite presence of bigwigs like Prosenjit Chatterjee and Arpita. The consistency with which he plays the autistic Abhimanyu throughout the film deserves a standing ovation. At no point in the film does he display any slack in his portrayal of a challenged child. And coming from a 12-year-old, such continuity and consistency is really commendable.
Prosenjit, too, looks his part as Arjun, though he looks a bit easygoing at times to be the hardened cop or the ‘licensed’ killer, as the villain calls him towards the end. But his chemistry with on-screen son Abhimanyu is a treat for the senses. Moreover, the way he portrays a hapless father, torn between the call of duty as a cop and his undying commitment towards his autistic son’s latent ambitions, is definitely worth a watch.
Arpita, too, has done full justice to her role of a teacher who goes on to make Abhimanyu an inseparable part of her life, even willing to take on the responsibility of being his mother. And so does Kharaj Mukherjee, who acts every bit the doctor who understands the special needs of autistic children.
Even the other members of Arjun’s ‘encounter’ team have portrayed their characters perfectly, with Jayjit Banerjee bringing in a spattering of comic relief every now and then as Arjun’s ‘pilot’. The music, too, complements the storyline perfectly with Usha Uthup’s voice enthralling the viewer as the father-son chemistry sizzles on screen.
It’s the storyline that seems a bit weak, focusing too much on the father-son relationship when a little more activity on the work front would have been more logical. When Arjun’s second-in-command is kidnapped by the very kingpin they are after, the team is shown all too busy cheering and prodding Abhimanyu to run. Wouldn’t it have been more logical to give the police investigation into the kidnapping of a cop a little more footage? Do cops really get that much of leeway in real life?
But overall, Force is a film you will certainly not regret watching. So, go and feel some emotion — some helplessness, sadness, relief and the glee of winning against all odds. Add some popcorn, and you’re sure to have the perfect evening.
