Sweetheart is an upcoming Bangladeshi romance film directed by Wajed Ali and produced by Didar Khan under the banner of Digital Movies Production. The film stars Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique, Bappy Chowdhury and Mim Bidya Sinha Saha in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on 12 February 2016. The film explores a love triangle between three people from completely different background. The film was first shot on October 19, 2014 in Dhaka. The trailor of the movie was released on July 14, 2015.
Story: Bilina (Mim) and Richard (Riaz) belongs to traditional christian family. Growing up together, Bilina and Richard gets accustomed to each other’s accompany. During teenage years, Richard go abroad for higher studies. While Richard is away, Bilina gets to know Jisan (Bappy), who belongs to a Muslim family. As the time passes, their friendship turns to love. However,In the mean time, Richard returns to Bilina and proposes to her, and Bilina accepts due to immense pressure from community and family. Unknown about the feelings Bilina have for Jisan, Richard marries her and soon after, their married life turns complex.

The film is scheduled to be released in Bangladesh on Valentines Day Weekend, 12 February 2016. The distribution rights of the film is given to Tiger Media Limited.
The film was first announced in 2013, with Mim Bidya Sinha Saha and Bappy Chowdhury selected for the lead role. Numerous media outlets reported that Mamnun Hasan Emon was approached to play a lead role in the film. However, Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddiqui was later approached to play the role of Richard.
Principal photography started on November 2014 with Mim and Bappy. The first phase of the shooting was done in Dhaka, while about 20 percent of the film and songs were shot in Thailand. The film was extensively shoot for 45 days in Dhaka while 12 days in Thailand.
